Node.js & TypeScript backend development

We design and build backends in Node.js and TypeScript: APIs, background jobs, integrations and the data layer behind your web and mobile apps.

Using TypeScript across the backend and frontend means one language, shared types and fewer integration bugs. Node.js is well suited to API-heavy products, real-time features and integrations with third-party services.

We focus on the parts that matter in production: clear API design, data modeling in PostgreSQL or MongoDB, authentication and permissions, automated tests, and monitoring, so the system stays dependable as usage grows.

Use cases

What we build with Node.js

  • 01

    REST & GraphQL APIs

Well-documented APIs for your web app, mobile app or partners.

  • 02

    Integrations

Payments (Stripe, PayPal), banking (Plaid), CRMs and third-party APIs connected reliably.

  • 03

    Background jobs

Queues, scheduled tasks and data pipelines that don't drop work.

  • 04

    Real-time features

Live updates, notifications and collaborative features.

  • 05

    Headless CMS

Strapi-based content backends your team can manage.

  • 06

    Backend rescue

Stabilizing, testing and documenting a backend that's grown messy.

FAQ

Common questions

Why Node.js and TypeScript for the backend?

One language across the stack means shared types between frontend and backend, faster development and an easier codebase to hire for. Node.js handles API-heavy and real-time workloads very well.

Which databases do you work with?

Mostly PostgreSQL, often through Supabase, and MongoDB when a document model fits the data better. We choose based on your data and how it will be queried.

Can you integrate payments and banking?

Yes. We build Stripe and PayPal integrations for payments and subscriptions, and Plaid integrations for bank account linking and financial data.

Do you write tests and documentation?

Yes. Automated tests for the critical paths and API documentation are part of the build, not an extra.
